At Jesus Feet

I'll lay life down at Jesus feet,
'Tis my sacrifice not mere defeat.
Without sorrow without regret,
All earthly things I shall not fret.
I have no need for selfish pride,
There is nothing for me to hide.
For Jesus paid the price for me,
Held ransom just to set me free.
I'll lay it down to find my way,
He'll grant me wisdom as I pray.
I'll devote my life for God's will,
With human faults He'll love me still.
Carry my cross with each new day,
God will always lead my way.
My faith will shine the light to see,
The journey God's plan chose for me.
God gives us each His love to share,
Our unique way to show we care.
There's special work He called us for,
Knock and God will open the door.

Happy Birthday in Heaven

I miss you so much Chris.I love you and wish you were here.I know Ryan and Uncle Jim Aunt Betty and many more are with you in Heaven.You will always be remembered my baby boy I love you so much.They say time heals,but that isn't true.

Dianna is one of those rare people... that always tries to help you out, no matter what the situation is or what she has to do to make things easier for you. She runs a bereavement support group for parents who have lost children to suicide... yet she always, always sends in wonderful items for my group... and to help me with The Angel Connection newsletter. She is a very loving, supportive lady... and she is certainly an earth angel to me! Thank you for having a place to let others know about her and her precious, generous heart!

I Am Not My Illness

Our Children suffered an inner pain, none seen to most of the outside world. The Poem below describes this pain. I Am Not My Illness by OklahomaRose ,

Chris's 10th year Memorial

Today marks the 10th memorial of my son Chris.I'm trying to have a good day but seems more difficult then most days without him.I guess this is something you just don't get used to living without is a child no matter what age,and no matter how many children you have,you always miss the one that is no longer with you..I still miss him still hear his voice and see his smile. He use to call me every morning ans say "Good Morning got sunshine in your Heart" On August 31 ,2000 I no longer heard my Good Morning got Sunshine in your Heart again.I knew something was wrong when he didn't call.

I think back in 10 years how much has changed,in my life a lot.Most for the better , but a lot of sadness most the time.I'm a different person than i was back then.That Dianna died when my son died.

So many lost loved ones especially in the last year. My Grandson Ryan , my brother Jimmy and our loving Aunt Betty are all now in heaven with our Christopher Jack. So many losses in so little time.There are others but these were the most precous to us.

Now is is saying "Good Morning "Got Sunshine in your Heart" to them.

I will try to make the best of things today and stay busy try to think of happy times with Chris.He was a happy child I don't know what happen along the way to end his happiness.I guess he just grew tired at such a young age and gave up.If he would have just held on he would have seen the changes in this world and possibly made a difference in others.Just hold on one more day.
